Terms and Conditions for use of website
The Privacy of personal information is of great importance to us, and we are committed (and obliged by law) to protecting it. With the increasingly rapid expansion of technology and access to information, preserving your privacy is now more important than ever.

In this notice “we”, “our” or “us” means the KFC Division of Collins Foods Group.

Personal information means any information that can be identified about an individual (not a business).

We recognise the trust you put in us, when you supply us with your personal information.

We comply with the recent amendments made to the Privacy Act, 1988 (Cth), which took effect on 21 December 2001.

By way of assurance to all Customers, each Employee of the Collins Foods Group Pty Ltd has signed a Privacy Agreement to ensure that our privacy obligations are complied with.

Collection
The purpose of this Notice is to also make sure that you are aware of a range of matters relating to our ongoing collection, use and disclosure of personal information.

When you use this website we collect personal information that you provide, for example by registering or submitting an enquiry/comment. This information may include your name, home or work address, phone/mobile number and email address.

Examples of the customary purposes for which this information may be used or disclosed are:

  • Register a Customer complaint to resolve issues.
  • Improve services and product quality from Customer feedback.
  • Inform valued Customers of special offers.
  • Enter competitions/promotions.
Disclosure
We may disclose your personal information:

  • To our agents, contractors or third party service providers that supply products or services to us for the purpose of our business. For example, your name, address and telephone number may be disclosed to a third party agent that sends printed information on behalf of our company.
  • Where the law requires us to do so.
  • If you consent

In the course of our business activities, we may need to disclose some of your personal information to relevant business partners

Opt-out
We provide you with choice as to whether we send you information about special products, competitions, promotions and services in the future. You may also change this choice in the future by contacting us with this request.

Data Security
We will take reasonable steps to:

  • Protect the personal information we hold from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
  • Destroy or permanently de-identify personal information if it is no longer needed for any purpose.

Access and correction
The Privacy Policy confirms that you can access your personal information that is already held by us. Should any of your personal information be incorrect, you may have the opportunity to correct it. There are, however, some circumstances where you may be denied access to your information. Our Privacy Officer will advise if any of these circumstances apply.
